Privacy Policy

This site collects as little data as possible.

This is the personal website of Arnab Mondal. There are no accounts, no newsletters stored on this site, and no advertising. This page explains the few things that do run.

What is collected

Aggregate analytics. Page views are measured with Vercel Analytics in anonymized, aggregated form. No cookies are set for tracking, and no cross-site profiles are built.
Now Playing footer. The footer can show the track currently playing on Spotify. The lookup happens server-side against the public Spotify API, so visitors send no personal data to Spotify through this feature.
Comments.Blog comments run on Giscus, backed by GitHub Discussions. When you comment, GitHub's privacy policy applies to that interaction.
Local storage. Your theme preference (dark or light) is stored in your browser only.

What never happens

No advertising or ad-network trackers.
No sale or sharing of visitor data with third parties.
No fingerprinting or cross-site identification.
